Turkish drone strike on Qamishlo injures 4
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – A Turkish drone carried out a targeted strike on the road between Qamishlo and Amude on Thursday, injuring four people.
Local activists said three women and one other person were injured and brought to the Ferman hospital in Qamishlo.
Also, the Syria-based North Press reported that three people were injured in a car by the strike.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the drone attempted to target a military vehicle but instead damaged a civilian bus near the village of Hemo.
A Turkish drone targeted a car near Himo, a town 4km west of Qamishlo which holds a US military base.

The Syria-based Rojava Information Centre (RIC) tweeted the names of three of the victims. They are Dalia Sheikhmus (20), Rosa Hammo (38), and Munifa Hamidi (33). The fourth victim remains unidentified.
The RIC pointed out that this is the fourth Turkish drone attack in 2022 on the Darbasiyah-Amude-Qamishlo road, near the Turkish border.
"A child was killed & at least 8 people were injured by these attacks so far," according to the tweet.
Also, a Turkish drone carried out a targeted strike in the northwestern Syrian city of Manbij on Wednesday for the second time in two days.

Since late January, the number of Turkish drone strikes in northeast Syria has increased.
According to a Feb. 14 SOHR report, Turkish drones carried out six attacks since early February.
These strikes targeted vehicles and positions in SDF-held parts of Aleppo and Hasakah, "killing eight people, including two children and a female fighter, and injuring 13 others."
